Google Introduces Google Plus for Businesses
November 9, 2011 No CommentsA few months ago, Google officially launched Google+. And within a short span of time, it attracted over 40 million users. Now, Google is taking it a step higher by introducing a version of the service for business. The main goal is to help business “make the same kinds of lasting connections with your customers online the way you can in real life”.
Business owners can create Google + Pages where they can post updates and news and engage in conversations with their customers. A cool feature of is Hangouts – a place where you can have high-quality video chats with up to 9 customers in one click. Meanwhile, Circles let you group followers into smaller audiences so you can share specific messages with those groups. It’s simple a more social way of segregating your market.
As part of the social sharing experience, Google+ makes it easy to share your page with others via the +1 button and the Google+ Icon. The +1 button makes it easy for your existing customers and network to recommend your business on Google search, in your ads and oacross the web even on mobile devices. Each +1 is like a vote that recommends your actual brand. Meanwhile the Google+ badge lets your network introduce your brand to others without ever leaving your Google+ page by adding it to their circles.
