July 17, 2010 3 CommentsIt is very important that you know how to convert site visits to sales or else you will just be wasting precious earning opportunities. Although it is true that you need to have huge web traffic for your online business but if you don’t know how to convert it to dollars then you might just as well have zero traffic.
Here are some tips that you can apply to convert visitors into sales:
1. Boost brand recognition for your business by adding your signature in all of your business communications may it be through emails or the regular mails.
2. To reinforce tip#1 you may also add the mission, vision statement of your online business. You can place it under your signature.
3. Send out sales copy but make sure that you are not spamming. Sales copies are beneficial since you get to personally write to your customers informing them of products and services that your online business is offering. You can also add offers or discount promotions to entice customers to purchase.
4. Testimonials from satisfied customers make the best sales promotions. Try to incorporate that on your sales copies.
5. Do regular website maintenance and keep it updated to keep the interest of your web visitors.
6. Provide relevant and informative content. Research topics related to your products and services that will interest your web visitors.
7. Make sure that your content addresses your web visitors on a personal level. Make them feel comfortable and welcomed in your website.
8. Continuously build trust by providing accurate information and by having a secured server that safeguard customer’s information.
9. Make purchasing as convenient as possible for your web visitors instead of using a link and then diverting them to another page on your webstore provide them instead with an easy to click sale button.
10. Always exert effort to reach out to your customers. You can link your webstore to Social Medias like Facebook, Twitter, Friendster, MySpace, etc and be able to get first hand comments and reviews from your customers. This is beneficial for building strong customer relations.
